Kylie Jenner is a name some hate, some love, and we all know. She has become famous for being the little sister (half sister) to Kim Kardashian. She basically grew up on television filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians since the age of nine. She is now 19 years old and is always being talked about whether it is to discuss if she has had plastic surgery recently, if her lips have gotten bigger, or if she is still dating 27-year-old Tyga. Kylie has become one of the richest, youngest, and most controversial celebrities for basically doing nothing. However, she has now created a makeup empire for herself. Kylie Cosmetics launched in 2016 with her lip kits. They consisted of liquid lipsticks and lip liners. She launched a few shades and they sold out right away. Now she sells highlighters, blushes, eye shadow palettes, glosses, and eyeliners to go along with her lip kits. Her company is a big hit and has sold millions of dollars of products online only.
However, are Kylie Cosmetics a huge rip off? The company has received lots of backlash since launching. The company has on many occasions delivered empty makeup compacts or not delivered the makeup at all. This occurred in large numbers and many customers were not happy and took it out on Twitter. Other customers complained about the smell of the eye shadow palettes saying it caused headaches. Kylie Cosmetics and Better Business Bureau launched an investigation and said it was the glue in the packaging causing the smell, but it is safe. Luckily for Kylie Jenner, she is so famous that she still receives an insane amount of orders and sells out quickly despite the bad odor and negative delivery reports. Who knows what Kylie Jenner will do next, but one thing is for sure it will be all over the headlines and everyone will be talking about it.
